In April 2007, I took my first trip to Africa, to do research for my global health technology work with Partners in Health and with Jim Kim at Harvard.
For this work, I'm leading a technology team on two initiatives: (a) create online communities of practice for global health workers and (b) create software to allow aggregate patient data comparisions across health programs and countries.
