- Mountains Beyond Mountains, by Tracy Kidder. This thrilling and important book came out in September 2003; it is now on the New York Times bestseller list and one recent review says this book has "Pulitzer written all over it". This book is dynamite, it covers Paul Farmer's work in Haiti and his quest to cure the third world of infectious disease and to provide dignity to the poorest peoples on Earth.
