iPod

iPod is bigger than most people realize; I think other audio companies (Cambridge Soundworks, Bose, etc) are going to be hurt badly for not endorsing iPod sooner.

There are now basically three iPods: iPod Video, iPod nano, iPod Shuffle.

Album Art

Apple only gives you album art for songs you purchase, but there are some free album art software applications such as:

iPod Improvements

I'd like to see these improvements to iPods:

1. Maximum volume setting that I could set for my kids!
2. Current song lyrics with bouncy ball. :-)
3. Customized bootup image and title.
4. Stealth mode blank screen, so I could pretend it is off when I'm on a plane and listening to it during takeoff or landing. :)

iPod Software and Stuff

• SharePod is shareware to copy stuff from your iPod to your PC
• PodPlus costs $15 and does cool things.

iTunes settings

• Keep iTunes Music folder organized
• Uncheck: Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library
