I'm again a new Mac user. Here are my initial questions.
- I installed Firefox but can't find it. In the tray, there is still
a firefox icon, but it has a ? over it, and clicking it does nothing.
- How to get screen saver to go back to main login screen
when someone touches keyboard?
- How to remap left hand CapsLock key to Ctrl, for emacs etc.
- How to select-all in a text window?
- Is there any use to my OS9 laptop?
- How to stop iTunes and iPhoto from starting each time I login?
- iTunes now has five copies of each of my songs. Is it somehow
adding another copy each time I run it? How to delete duplicates?
- How to do screen captures?
- How to setup ssh to not require passwords between trusted
servers?
- How to do rsync selectively between trusted servers?
- Microsoft Office uggh.
- How to have more than one terminal window open? (E.g., one for my
mac and then other for an ssh session to another machine.)
- How to sync my phone to my mac?
- What is the weird Firefox - Applications window that comes up
when I start Firefox?
- Can I in fact change usernames? The initial setup defaulted to
username "apple", and like most users, I read labels and fields
and not the text around it, so I assumed it was asking me for
what I wanted to name my Mac, never imaging it would default the
machine owner username to apple. :(

- How do I change the name of my Mac so my unix prompt is not
